APART Services
Auburn Paranormal Activities Research Team is a group of paranormal investigators dedicated to researching, understanding and education of the paranormal incidents. We are a free of charge, and Ouija free, investigative team that covers most of Western Washington. We will take cases further out on a case by case bases; depending on gas and other factors. Contact us using the contact form.
We provide a multiple step investigation process free of charge. A quick review is listed below of a general investigation process.
Investigation Definitions
Our team takes a different approach depending on the style of investigation pending. As a team, we have developed our definitions of the various investigations we could face. With those definitions laid out before us, we are able to assess, hypothesize, approach, investigation, experiment and put forth a thorough investigation when and where needed. Listed below are our definitions for the three categories we have encountered thus far. We will edit, and redefine as needed.
Investigation:
Our investigations are when a client contacts us to investigate claims of paranormal activity in their home. These are clients we remain in contact with, supporting them, well after their acclimated back into their home or business. In the end, this client gets a full enclosed report that details environmental information, historical information, client intake, investigation report, consent form, any data logged charts, and a CD with video, audio or photos if we have captured anything.
Our multi-step process includes:
* Pre-investigate intake
* Go over claims with client, establishing a relationship between client and team coordinator
* Set up an assessment time, so coordinator and tech can meet, assess location layout, and get consent
signed.
* Assessment Process
* Do thorough historical research with the county assessors office, library and local historians.
* Upon signed consent, contact other witnesses to the events in the client’s home/business to get a first hand
account for documentation purposes.
* Set up an actual investigation (s) date and time (s).
* Investigation (s)
* Attempt to set up multiple investigations to compare findings, and establish a series of various environmental
controls
* Host investigation during “natural” environment times. (I.E. if client has activity at 3PM before dinner, we want
to be present during their active times. “Going dark” doesn’t always pertain to client claims. We want the client
to feel as natural, and comfortable as possible.
* Data collection and correlation
* Evidence review after all investigations have been completed
* Final report with the client
* Completing our post investigation client follow-up; staying with the client as long as needed until they
are comfortable again in their home/business.
Investigative Excursion:
Our investigations excursions are clients we contact for an investigation and will get a report in the end, even if they’re not requiring our team to present one. Locations such as haunted hotels, historical locations, bed and breakfasts, etc. These are notable, documented or well written about, legends and folklore of hauntings. We inquire with the owner, seek permission, do historical research and document, conduct the investigation the same as during a client inquiry investigation.
Our multi-step process includes:
* Investigation (s)
* Data collection and correlation
* Evidence review after all investigations have been completed
* Final report with the client out of courtesy of granting permission to investigate
* We do not provide a follow up for this client; especially if it’s a well documented case
Excursion:
Our excursions are trainings, no client to follow up with. We normally do not provide a report for a client on excursions. However, there have been times when we have given a presentation on our findings for those locations. Locations considered for excursions are cemeteries, ghost towns, city parks or lakes with noted history, and some historical locations. We compile our findings for our website or for presentations upon request. WE ALWAYS SEEK PROPER PERMISSION BEFORE ENTERING ANY SUCH LOCATION!
Our multi-step process includes:
* Contact board, city government, etc to get permission to host an excursion
* Data collection and correlation
* Evidence review after excursion has been completed
* We do not provide a follow up, or report, for excursions
